hmm,i seriously think mrs toh is like, one of the best.
although she called my mom, but whatever.

if you think about it, she commands the most respect from almost everybody.
and when you're not doing well, you can tell she's sincerely worried about you.
and although she's got that leg problem,it doesnt change the fact that her students are priority.
like she foregoes her dinner just for night study.
and when we gave her food, she just pulled out like a whole lotta snacks and passed it to us.

eng was boring..and kinda hard.
i kept dozing off every five mins
but i scared teacher scold me.

suern ask me to update.
so here i am,although i dont really have much to say.
first day of exams overr.
dont know why i so happy also.
hahaaha.
eng was alright.
topic was :write about an occasion when your impatience caused you to get into trouble.
i know so boring right.
so i wrote an equally boring essay.
i portrayed myself as a spoilt,rich bimbo in the essay.
and i wanted this bag called "Prada Exclusive"( i didnt have much time to think of nicer names like The BoBo.)
yeah,but i could only get it after two months when the stock arrived.
then i got so mad, i stole it.
and i was so busy gaping at the stupid bag that i failed to notice the two policemen standing outside the glass window and when i opened the door i bumped into them.
HEEHE.
i know its stupid,but i had no time to think of better stuff, and there was NO way i was going to do another education essay.
boooh.

so yep.
SS was alright?
a lil hard,but okay.
the problem with me is i always worry that i cannot finish on time, so right from the start i rush and rush and rush like mad, and when i actually complete everything,i still have like what, fifteen minutes?

cos we shared a cab home today.
and since my house was the last step,i asked if fifteen dollars was enough to cover the cab fare.

firstly,i dont take cabs alone very often.
secondly,when i do, i'm not the one who's doing the paying,so i hardly take notice of cab fares.

was alright.

scared the living daylights out of me.
met eudora at the usual busstop,and then i saw this old indian man wearing sunglasses and carrying a cane,so i assumed he was blind la.
cos when he came over to sit, he sat SUPER NEAR ME.
AND THEN HE MOVED CLOSER.
ok, his body was touching mine. and he KEPT SQUEEZING.
then he started mumbling in tamil.
i was already quite freaked out so eudora and i stood up.

and that was the most beautiful song ever sang.
the song just came out like a natural progression.
then the track stopped,but God seemed to wanted me to continue,so I did.
and am i glad i did.
cos it was just,wonderful.
took up one hour of my studying schedule,but i wouldnt have had it any other way.
Thank You Lord, for showing me once again Your grace.

HELLO EVERYBODY!
BLOGGER HAS RECOVERED!
SO HERE I AM!
ok..crap i forgot what i wanted to say.
had math tuition today.
heeheee.
it was funny.
i went there expecting to see a wise old man with white hair as sign of his wisdom.
but..
he kinda resembled..
a cute cartoon i drew out of boredom.
and i am NOT kidding!
the reality was SO different from what i imagined,i practically laughed out loud at the absurdness of it all.
then whenever he dropped his marker and bent to pick it up, i was so scared his bones will break.
he was good though.
slow,but good.
yeah.

went for dinner at mandarin gardens.
wasnt really in the mood cos i was superbly tired,and gee,i think im falling sick.
a little feverish,and i felt like i was gonna puke during dinner.
anyway,seated oppo me was a table full of sec three dudes.
and my mom so cheeky la.
she was like" eh, got one table full of guys. for you to look at!"
i grimaced.
"okok,for them to look at you."
HAHAHA.
and yes,they looked.
BLATANTLY okay.
this guy in black kept looking and smiling.
and then his friend turned around and LOOKED AT ME STRAIGHT.
when i saw it i was like.. WHAT THE..
then my mom was like..relax,come,eat eat.

so i ate.
but i also kept looking at him until he noticed and i looked away.

ok let's backtrack.
today's day started out funnily enough, with cheryl,cecelia,and eudora complaining about people on the bus.
eg; people who PLOP themselves heavily beside you and you fly up like 5cm above your seat.
people who like to squeeze and push,and squeeze somemore.
people who tsktsk at you when your bag takes up too much space.
people who sit on your skirt.
people who do not let you exit from your seat,and TSK/complain/do not apologise when you ask them to do so.
the next one is one i have said repeatedly,and it happens in MRTs.
PEOPLE WHO LEAN ON THE RAILING WHILE I'M HOLDING ONTO IT.

i just finished studying SS.
like,four chapters i think?
did lotsa notes.
im going to be needing two more stacks of cards.
i feel...so good today!
cos i studied,like SOLID studying.
no msging,no talking, no sleeping even!
and i only stopped to sing twice.
AWESOME.

the only problem is..
i didnt study math.
but tmr's tuition should make up for it.
hmm.

i hope he's nice and not mean.

and i have finally gotten to studying on a proper table instead of on the bed.
it helps alot really!
should have done it loong ago.
although my chair's a little small and uncomfy,but whatever.
at least i dont feel lazy.

Today was a very unstressful day.

cos i laughed like nothing today.

after amath lesson( surprisingly enough,i enjoyed relative velocity), went to macs with the whole bunch for brekkie.

It's the small things that matters.
like,when you're running late, God could be holding you back from something bad that could happen if you're on time.
so next time you meet with a delay, it could be simply God protecting you!:D
must remember that everytime im running late and on a short fuse.

yeah im home early today..no eng remedial..wheee!!

ok, so i didnt do so well for my eng oral.
i took like,five mins?!
i was preparing to answer questions like "do you think parents are overprotective,or are students too pampered.."
but guess what?

when im getting gazillion butterflies in my stomach, there's no space to think about food.
yes,so i just said the most obvious thing..
Me: Western Food! Especially Pasta!
Teacher: why?
Me: cos it's tasty!

Me: cos pasta has many varieties..like spaghetti..and..and..( i wanted to say tortellini..but i FORGOT).. and yeah!..it just has many varieties. I dont really like local food cos they're usually fried and oily.( i know it doesnt make sense,but i didnt know what else to say!I wanted to say i lean more towards western fare,but for some reason i didnt open my mouth.HAHAHA.)

Me: VERY IMPORTANT! because what's the use of enjoying good food everyday if you cant live long! (then i cant remember what else i blabbered)

i almost forgot how much i missed my mom!(:
she slimmed down okay.
cos when she was walking out,my dad pointed out"mama!"
and i was like" no la, please,that person so small and thin,how can be mama?!"
dad: Look like her leh!
then i look at her closely..her hair looks like mom, mannerism also like mom..the way she walk blur blur one..
then she turn around with equally blur face and im like
"THAT'S MOM!!"
HAHAHA.

then she cos her luggage was superbly heavy, she looked kinda ridiculous with her hands and legs flailing around.

let me tell you what happened today.
basically i was online till four am this morning,drawing ugly pictures and cartoons.
so yep,i went to sleep,and at around seven am, the dog jumped on the bed and squeezed in between me and mummy.
and wagged its furry tail at my face.
irritated, i covered myself with the blanket.
at ten am, everyone was waiting for me to wake up,but i was still sleeping.
so they had this wild idea to bring the dog in,who was very hyperactive this morning,
and it jumped on me.
YES,that FAT HEAVY BESSIE jumped ON ME.
then proceeded to lick my face.
and i was like..
"wwwwwwwwwwatttttttttttt............."
dogs make good effective alarm clocks.
hahaha.
after that,went to dunno where to have lunch(cos i took so long to bathe,it was lunchtime)
and since it was a public holiday, most of the stores were closed.
i had this huge craving for roti prata,but NO roti prata.
then i wanted western food, NO western.
there was this malay stall selling western though.
so i gave it a try.
fish&chips.
HUGE MISTAKE.
the fish was tasteless.
seriously, even with GOBS of mayo, it's still tasteless.
wedges were SO SO SO OILY.
and my mayo was mixed with chilli.
anw, after a few mouthfuls, i couldnt bring myself to take another bite.
so went to order toast with egg and icetea.
hmmmm.
let me tell you a funny story.
everyone knows i cant hold trays with liquid properly right?
so yeah,i had to carry this tray with coffee and all.
then i walked to my table with the tray balancing precariously on my hand.
when i put the tray down, the coffee sloshed all over the tray.
and my goddaddy remarked very loudly " WALAO, IF I WAS YOUR BOSS I WOULD HAVE FIRED YOU STRAIGHTAWAY! cannot become waiter already la you! carry drinks also can carry until like that. "
then we were suddenly reminded of the terry boy from I not Stupid (1).
HAHA.
when he was carrying the bowl of noodles,and he was shaking and shaking and the bowl of noodles went flying onto people's faces.
HAHAHAHAHAHAH.

yup,anw, the bread and drink wasnt that all fantastic.

My tutor gave me different styles of poems, and wanted me to choose two of them to do in depth.
here's one that's really interesting!(poem as a narrative)

Torch Song

She stuffed it in her briefcase not to scare the crowds
and carried it for miles,
on trains, through car parks, down the rush hour streets.
It glowed a little, scorched her papers, melted down her sandwiches, and made the world
inedible, illegible, a dangerous place.

Outside his door she hesitated, knew
she musn't start a blaze
in there, was terrified of what one wisp
of smoke could signal to the air.
she left it on the pavement, went inside, and watched
as people gathered on the street all afternoon,

to warm their hands on it, to stare:a burning torch
inside a briefcase, smoking,
flaming now despite the steady rain
that specked the window so he noticed
hardly anything until the crowd began
to sing- a little out of key at first, unsteady

in the rhythm, then a harmony, a chorus,
building clear and almost
beautiful, that had him on his feet
and running, nearly through the door
before she reached him, pulled him back, pushed past,and all
without a thought that for a second she had held him.

In a heat haze, eyes that stung until they soaked
her face, she grabbed the briefcase,
burnt her fingers, clung on tight, and ran,
back down streets, alleys, over walls.
It lit her route the whole way home, kept men at bay,
until she reached her door and sat awake all night,

watched her torch as it burnt brightly in the yard,
as he lay miles away,
unsettled, half remembering strangers singing,
dreamt a spark ignited curtains,
flared across his room and burst into a wall
of flame, to burn him down, to burn his whole world down.

then the poem suddenly seems so interesting.

it's about this girl who wants to confess, but chickens out at the last minute, but the boy has already half-realised what the girl wanted to say, and it's starting to change his entire life.
